JOINING FORT FINDLAY FOP LODGE #20

Those in law enforcement share a bond that few outsiders could comprehend. As a fraternal organization comprised of individuals actively engaged in law enforcement, we understand. Quoting the mission statement from our Grand Lodge, "We are committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those we serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement, and employee representation."

If you are a regularly appointed or elected and full-time employed law enforcement officer of the United States, any state or political subdivision thereof, or any agency, then you can become a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. (Future addition: If you are a family member of a Fraternal Order of Police member you may join the FOP Auxiliary. If you are a supporter of Law Enforcement you may join the FOP Associates.) Please contact your local Fraternal Order of Police lodge who will assist you through the membership process.

FOP JOURNAL

  • Published four times a year, the FOP Journal is the official publication of the Grand Lodge. Each issue contains reports from the Executive Board, updates on law enforcement legal and labor issues and more. 

FOP CONNECT

  • The official online companion to the FOP Journal, the website is for members and features expanded articles from the magazine, a product directory, regular sweepstakes and the ability to share your thoughts and connect with other FOP members.

LEGAL DEFENSE PLAN

  • This self-funded plan is available to eligible FOP groups and individual members to cover law enforcement exposures, including administrative, civil and criminal legal coverage; H.R. 218 coverage; and the Moonlighting Liability Insurance Program.

COLLEGE TUITION AND DISCOUNTS

  • Recognizing that four-year and graduate degrees are increasingly important for law enforcement career advancement, the FOP collaborates with a select consortium of universities willing to offer members the education they need with a flexible schedule and reasonable cost.

INSURANCE AND BANKING

  • The FOP offers a range of products designed specifically for its members including a national insurance plan, FOP credit card and the National Police Credit Union.

DISASTER RELIEF

  • As part of the NFOP Foundation, the Fraternal Order of Police Disaster Relief Fund (a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization) relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations and is always prepared to assist our members in distress.

  • The FOP offers an exclusive line of merchandise for our members.

TRAVEL
